Meet Steve Nicks
My business is built around my clients. It is my goal to build a business that is 100% supported by referrals from past clients, my family and my friends who can't wait to pass along my name when they know of somebody who is ready to move. My goal as your real estate agent is to provide you with guidance throughout the entire real estate transaction. You are the driver of the car and I'm the navigator, so to speak. At every point in the transaction I strive to provide you with the expertise, knowledge and advice necessary to have a discussion about the available options and then make a smart, educated decision. I don't see myself as the type of person that simply tells you what to do at every step, rather somebody that you can count on to provide objective advice so that you can make your own decision on what the smartest move for you is.
Family
I was born and raised here in Phoenix, a rare native anymore. My wife and I were married in Feb. '04 and shortly after moved up to a small resort community in Northern Idaho, my wife's hometown, called Sandpoint. What a change that was for me! As somebody who saw and experienced the snow only about 2-3 days out of the year going to Flagstaff or Sunrise for the weekend, I was in for quite a shock when not only did you have to shovel the snow off your driveway before you left for work in the morning, but you had to do it again just to get back into the garage when you got home. It didn't take too long to realize that home for us was Phoenix. We lived in Sandpoint for about a year and returned to Phoenix in Mar '05. My wife and I now share space in our home with the new addition to our family, our dog, Dâsha, the Great Dane. Now you understand why I say "we share space" with her in the house. We brought her home at about 6 weeks old weighing about 12lbs. and at almost a year old she weighs
about 115lbs. She's a handful, to say the least, and getting bigger by the day.
Activities I Enjoy
When I can find the time in between work and family time I enjoy going to the gym, playing softball, golf and racquetball. I also enjoy snow skiing, water skiing and snorkeling. My next goal is to get certified for scuba diving and spend a week (or longer) in the Caribbean, or some other exotic location and not come above water for the entire time. One of these days!! Probably not in the near future, but it's good to dream, right?
